GENERAL

Where is the Con?

The convention is being held at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave., in Novi, Michigan.

When is the Con?

Motor City Comic Con returns on May 17th – 19th, 2024!

What are the show hours?

Friday: 12 pm – 7 pm, Saturday: 10 am – 7 pm, Sunday: 10 am – 5 pm

Where can I park and how much is it?

Suburban Collection Showplace Parking Fee: $10.00/ Vehicle. On site is cash only. Your pass does allow in and out privileges throughout the day.

What is your bag policy?

Bags and backpacks are allowed but are subject to a bag check at the discretion of Motor City Comic Con staff and security.

Do you have wheelchairs and scooters available?

A limited number of wheelchairs and scooters are available for free use from the convention center.  These are given out on a first-come basis and cannot be reserved ahead of time. Please call Lori Kemp at (248) 496-2751 or email at libertymedsupply01@gmail.com

Are tickets on sale at the door?

We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available at the door, but if we’re close to selling out, we will make announcements on social media and post it to our site. At the door prices are reflected on the ticketing page.

Do Kids get in free?

Children 5 & under can get in for free all weekend! Children ages 6 to 12 require a child ticket on Friday and Saturday. All children 12 & under get in for free on Sunday. All children must be accompanied by an adult all weekend. We know you know this, but we still have to say it.

I bought a ticket for a friend/family member. Will they have a problem using the ticket?

Not at all! Many tickets are purchased for friends or family. We will only ask for ID if there has been a specific complaint regarding an order.

What is your refund policy?

Tickets to the Motor City Comic Con are non-refundable and non-transferrable. In the case of a Guest Cancellation, we will refund any Photo Op and/or Autograph tickets, etc. associated with the guest purchased but we do not offer any returns or refunds for Motor City Comic Con 2024 admission tickets.

How do I get my wristband shipped to me?

Shipping of your wristband is an option at checkout for a flat fee of $15. Can ship within continental US and international to Canada only. Specially Ticketed Event tickets, Add-On’s and merchandise included within Priority Ticket Packages (VIP & Guest Packages) are not eligible for shipping and will need to be picked up at Front Registration upon entry.

What is the shipping deadline for wristbands?

Last day to purchase shipping for your wristband is April 21st, 2024 at 11:59 PM EDT.

When will wristbands be shipped out?

Please note that no matter when you placed your order that all wristbands are set to be shipped out near the end of April and will arrive between May 6th – May 10th.

Can I pick up my wristband?

Stop by the Suburban Collection Showplace outside box office window May 13th – 15th, 2024 from 12 pm- 8 pm to pick up your wristband early free of charge. Come ready with your online ticket to get your wristband early so you can be ready to just walk right in the first day of the Motor City Comic Con! Note: You cannot pick up VIP merchandise during this time.

What If I don’t have my wristband shipped or pick them up?

If you’re unable to pick up your wristband and you don’t want to have your wristband shipped out to you ahead of time No Problem! You’ll just check in at registration when you arrive at the show with your ticket (either printed or on your phone) and they’ll scan it and swap it out for a wristband. Keep in mind you may have to wait in line.

Can I buy my ticket at the box office?

Stop by the Suburban Collection Showplace outside box office window May 12th – 15th, 2024 from 12 pm- 8 pm to purchase your tickets! Tickets are “at the door” prices.

PHOTO OPS and AUTOGRAPHS

What are Photo Ops?

It is a professional photo taken with an individual star or a group of actors from your favorite TV show or movie. Each Photo Op includes a glossy 8″ x 10″ print.

How many people are allowed in one paid Photo Op?

You can share the experience with friends & family. That means you can have 4 humans (regardless of age) in one photo op purchase with the opportunity to purchase additional prints.

How do I get a Photo Op?

You can pre-purchase photo op tickets and most of them will also be sold on site. However, there may be a few guests who sell out before the show so get in on the action while you can!

Do I need admission to get a Photo Op?

A valid admission ticket to Motor City Comic Con is required of each individual in order to redeem your photo op.

When will the Photo Op Schedule be posted?

We will post the photo op schedule as we get closer to the show, around 2-3 weeks prior. Please note that all Photo Op times are subject to change, at any given time. Please check back frequently for the most up to date version once its posted.

What if my Photo Op conflict?

If you think you might have conflicting photo ops, you can always swap to another day using your confirmation email. Simply click “View Order Online” and you will see SWAP or UPGRADE buttons next to your products. Note that photo ops greater than 10 minutes apart are not considered conflicting. If you are concerned, please see a Pose Photo Op staff member on site and they will be happy to assist you!

How do Autograph Presales Work?

Make the most of your Autograph experience with POSE!
BEFORE YOU GO, be prepared—here’s how:

Bring Your QR Code. The QR code included in your confirmation email is your ticket, and will be scanned at the table, at the time of your experience.
Tickets may be printed or on your mobile device. Please note every customer has ONE unique QR code that connects all of your tickets. Even if you place multiple orders, as long as you use the same email address, those tickets will all be under the same QR code.

Go at Your Convenience. Autograph presales will not have set scheduled times, simply take your QR code to the guest’s table at a time that best works for you.

Bring A Friend. Autograph ticket holders may bring a maximum of one (1) companion to accompany you. Ticket holders under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Out of respect to our celebrity guests, please do not ask for freebies.

What is Artist Alley?

Artist Alley is a collection of more than 250 extremely talented artists and writers who come from around the world to showcase and sell their art and published works. Check out some of the most amazing original art, prints, comic books, posters and meet the artists and authors who create them!
Come to the Motor City Comic Con where you can buy some incredible art or commission a custom piece!

I’m a food Vendor. How can I be part of an upcoming event?

All food & beverage vendors are run through the convention center. We do not accept any food vendors.

Autographs

What is an Autograph?

Autographs are a signature on an item or photo of the Celebrity Guest of your choice. Most Celebrity Guest Autograph Sessions will need to be purchased at their booth on the show floor during the convention. Some will be available for pre-purchase.

 

How much are Autographs?

Prices vary between Guests and can be found on their individual Guest Pages. Most on-site autographs are CASH ONLY!

How do I get an Autograph?

In most cases, you can walk right up to a Celebrity’s booth to purchase an autograph or redeem a pre-sale autograph ticket. In some cases, a Celebrity Guest may have a signing schedule with set times to redeem pre-sale autographs and designated times for walk-ups. Please make sure to check individual Guest pages often for appearance details as they are subject to change.

Where do I get an Autograph?

All Celebrity Guest Autographs sessions will take place at their individual booth on the showroom floor. Guest Booth locations will be listed in the program guide.

Can I bring in my own item to get signed?

You can bring in an item to get signed but it may be subject to approval or possibly additional fees that are set by each individual Guest.

Can I get multiple Items Autographed?

Yes, you can get multiple items signed; however, each autograph purchase is good for one Guest signature. i.e., if you bring 10 items to get signed you will have to buy 10 autograph tickets.

Can I ask for an Autograph while I’m getting my Photo Op?

No, Photo Ops move very quickly so if you wish to purchase an Autograph you must do so at the Celebrity’s Guest Booth.
