Artist Alley

Motor City Comic Con’s Artist Alley is a venue for independent and mainstream Comic Creators, as well as professional Writers/Illustrators to display their original artwork and published books. All items for sale at the table must be the work of the Creator(s) and the Creator(s) must be present at the event. If you’re selling mass-produced items or are otherwise a Retailer, Publisher, Small Press or Crafter you won’t be approved for Artist Alley. Artist Alley tables are exclusively for use of Creators who have artwork or other items directly related to their work for sale at their table, such as published books, prints, sketchbooks, original art, commissions, etc. Merchandise must be primarily paper goods making up 90% of your display. A small number of other items (around 10%) such as pins, mugs and totes are permissible so long as they do not represent the majority of items for sale at the table.

One (1) Creator per table Cost: $325 + $15 processing fee

 

Two (2) Creators one table Cost: $425 + $25 processing fee 

 

End-caps: $50 + $3 processing fee 

 

The area behind the table is approximately 3-4 feet

Each Artist Alley 1 Creator purchase comes with one 8ft table & two chairs and one Guest Badge

The space is issued only to the Creator(s) listed on the application. Spaces are non-transferable

CRAFTERS

Motor City Comic Con’s Crafter Market is designated for individuals who produce a product related to the pop culture market that is not a comic book or a comic print. Examples include, but are not limited to, candles, jewelry, handmade clothing etc. Sales of merchandise, other than those produced by you are not permitted. We’ve made changes to our contract, so please make sure to take your time and read through it before submitting your application.

Cost: $500 + $25 processing fee

 

The area behind the table is approximately 3-4 feet

Each Crafter purchase comes with one 8ft table and two chairs and two Vendor Badges

The space is issued to the company/ individual listed on the application. Spaces are non-transferable

VENDORS

Motor City Comic Con’s vendor area is designated for Dealers or Retailers who sell mass produced merchandise. All booths are 10‘x 10’ with an 8‘ high curtained backdrop and 3’ high curtained side rails. MC3 will provide one 8’ x 2‘ table with each standard booth or two 8’ x 2‘tables with each corner and island booth and two chairs with each booth. Three badges are included for the first per booth space purchased and one for each additional booth purchased.
