Motor City Comic Con is committed to providing a safe environment for all our celebrity guests, comic guests, vendors, and attendees. To protect the privacy and intellectual property of our guests, strict regulations are enforced regarding the use of recording devices, cameras, and smart eyewear.

Policy on Smart Eyewear (Meta glasses & alternatives):

• Prohibited items: smart glasses and wearable recording technology – specifically Meta Glasses (Ray-Ban Meta, etc.), spectacles, and other glasses equipped with built-in cameras, microphones, or streaming capabilities – are not allowed inside the convention.
• Entry Requirements: Attendees in possession of prohibited smart glasses or other wearable recording devices will not be permitted to enter the convention with the device. The device must be secured outside the venue before re-entry.
• Proactive Enforcement: Security and staff will be monitoring for prohibited eyewear.

Consequences of non-compliance:

• Removal From the Event: Anyone caught wearing, carrying, or attempting to use Meta glasses or unauthorized recording devices inside the convention may be removed from the event.
• No refunds: Attendees removed from the convention for violating this policy will forfeit their admission badge/tickets/wristbands without eligibility for a refund – this includes admission for any additional paid events and/or experiences associated with Motor City Comic Con.
